What is a Pour Over Pouch?

"Pour Over" is a method of brewing coffee where hot water is slowly poured over coffee grinds and passed through a filter. This extracts a balanced and flavorful cup of coffee.

Pour Over Pouches are filter paper pouches that comes packaged with fresh expertly-grounded coffee inside. The pouch hangs over the edge of a mug or cup. All you need to do is pour hot over into the pouch, and you'll have a freshly brewed cup of coffee in no time!

How long does your coffee stay fresh for?

Our packaging foils for the Pour Over Pouches are nitrogen-flushed and will stay fresh for up to 12 months. Nitrogen flushing replaces the oxygen (which makes the coffee go stale) in each of our packages to help preserve and protect our freshly ground beans. Don't worry, nitrogen does not affect the flavor and texture of the coffee! Check out this blog post for more details!

Yes! Log in and access your customer portal by clicking on the "My Subscriptions" link under "My Account".



Click into the active subscription you'd like to update. If you have multiple subscriptions, you'll have to update the information for each of them.



Scroll down and locate shipping address and payment details.


Shipping address: You can directly update your shipping information in the portal.

Payment information: You will receive an email from Shopify to update your card and billing information. Your next processed charge will use the new billing information.

What does the Welcome Kit include?

The Welcome Kit has some of our most popular coffees, as well as a free mason jar! It's the best way get a taste of what Hooked has to offer. After the kit is delivered, you will automatically be signed up for a subscription bundle.

We have two types of welcome kits:

  • Welcome kit for a fixed coffee selection: After the first shipment, you will be shipped a monthly coffee box based on your selection (picture for reference). You can add, remove or swap out any coffees any time in your customer portal.
  • Welcome kit for monthly rotating coffee: After the first shipment, we ship one coffee type to ship to you each time and the coffee changes automatically each month. We determine the number of coffee and roast level based on your selection (picture for reference). You can swap out your rotating bundle to fixed coffee any time in your customer portal.

What is the difference between the Build-Your-Own Bundle and the Rotating Bundle?

With the Build Your Own Bundle, you pick exactly which coffees ship to you each time. The selection will not automatically rotate each time, but you can change it at any time.

For the Rotating Bundle, we choose one coffee for you each time, and the coffee changes automatically each month.

How do I use my discount code?

Click "checkout" through your shopping cart or side cart, enter the discount code in the discount code box and click “Apply”. The code will then be applied to your order! Only one discount may be applied per order.

How do I refer a friend?

Through the loyalty panel, you can share your referral link via Facebook, Twitter and/or email directly a friend. You can also share it by copying and pasting the referral link in other social media platforms, SMS, WhatsApp, etc.



Once your friend clicks on the referral link, they will be redirected to the store's page; where they'll have to enter their email address in a prompt to get their reward/discount code via e-mail. Your friend will need to manually copy and paste the code for it to be applied at checkout.

When your friend makes a purchase with the reward/discount code; that's when the referral is considered completed. Only then you will receive an email notifying you that your friend has made a purchase with your reward/discount code, which you can find by logging into the store, clicking on the panel > Your rewards.

How do I earn points?

You can earn points within the 'ways to earn' section of your loyalty panel. The social media (Like on Facebook, Follow on Instagram, etc) and birthday earning actions need to be taken by clicking directly on the panel. Points for creating an account (sign up) or placing an order will be immediately credited to your account provided that you are logged in and using the same email address as your account.

How do I spend points?

You can spend points under the 'ways to redeem' section of your loyalty panel. Here you will find the amount of points that are required to claim/get a reward/discount. Please make sure that you are logged into the rewards panel before redeeming your points.

Once you have enough available points, you can simply select 'Redeem' - again within the panel; click 'Apply code' for the discount to be automatically applied at checkout. Once you redeem a reward, it will appear under 'Your Rewards'. Note that you can only redeem one reward per order.

Why isn't my reward working at checkout?

Stacking rewards

You can only use one coupon at checkout. Using multiple coupons is not permitted but you can use a coupon with a gift card at checkout.

Using rewards with discounted products

Discounted items might affect coupon use. If checkout rejects your coupon with a sale item, please reach out to us and see we will look into it for you!

How do I check the status of my order?

You can see if an order is fulfilled yet under the "Fulfillment Status" under "My Accounts". The "My Accounts" button is located on the top right part of the our website. You can view your order details by clicking on your order number under "Order" in "My Accounts".

You will receive an order confirmation upon order placement and a shipping confirmation email that includes a tracking number once your order has been fulfilled. The tracking number will then show up under the order details in "My Account".

* Please note that sometimes the tracking can take a day or two to be updated by the carrier. If you have not received your order within 10 business days from when you received the shipping confirmation, please contact us and we will look into it for you asap!

How do I track my order?

Email:

When your order is shipped, you will receive an email providing you with a tracking number to track your order. Sometimes this email gets sorted into spam or promotions folders so be sure to take a look in there.

Customer portal:

You can also log into your account and click on the specific order to see the status.


*Please note that sometimes the tracking can take a day or two to be updated by the carrier. If it looks like its not moving, chances are its on its way! If you have not received your order within 10 business days from when you received the shipping confirmation, please contact us and we will look into it for you asap!

Can I change/cancel an order once it has been processed?

Unfortunately, you cannot make any changes to your order once it has been fulfilled. We work right away to try to get your coffee to you as soon as possible!

How long will it take to receive my order?

We typically ship our orders on business days (Monday 9am to Friday 2pm. You will receive your order within 5-8 business days from when you received the shipping confirmation.

If you have not received your order within 10 business days from when you received the shipping confirmation, please contact us and we will look into it for you asap!

My order never got to me, what do I do?

Oops! We hope this doesn't happen, but if it does, don't worry, we've got your back!

If your package has been marked as delivered and it's only been one day, hang tight! Sometimes the carriers scan it before it actually reaches your hands. Keep an eye out over the next few hours.

If the tracking hasn't been updated for an unusually long time or if there have been no updates since it was shipped, it's possible that it got lost in transit. Please file a claim with the carrier. If there's no resolution after two weeks, please reach out to us.
